• "SK Design and Consulting  was the lead design firm for a fabulous 1,000 seat Class B theater which opened in May, 2015 in The Villages, FL 32162.  The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center is a leading edge state of the art performance facility.  It has all the functionality you would expect in a modern theater.  In addition, it includes a fully automated fly system, sound isolating rubber grommet walls, 40+foot ceilings, and a hydraulic orchestra pit. 

     As a result, the sound is authentic whether you are seated in the box seats, orchestra, mezzanine, or balcony.        

     This is perhaps the best facility of this size that I have ever experienced. 

     Moreover, the challenges of fitting the facility on limited land and integrating it with an existing facility were    

     formidable.  It was largely the ingenuity of the SK Design team, led by Stan Kaye that overcame these limitations.  

    Mr. Kaye created delightful exterior elevation that is a perfect match with its neighbor buildings.
